General Settings

This area allows you to configure Zend Server general settings to better suit your personal preferences and working environment:

Results per page
Select the level of verbosity for the UI log displayed on the Logs page
Server Setup Name
Set a name that represents server's setup (in case of a cluster that would be a cluster name, e.g. "my-production-US"). This is useful when working with several environments/setups
Server Setup Color	Reset
Define the environment color (Only when Setup name is defined). An icon in that color will appear on the top bar.
Default Server
Define the default server to be used in application URLs for deploying and defining new applications
External URL (zend_monitor.gui_host_name)
Define a URL to be used for external references to Zend Server (e.g. mysite.com)
Log Verbosity
Select the level of verbosity for the UI log displayed on the Logs page
Logout Timeout
Set the timeout (mins) for automatic user logout (to disable, set to 0)
Timezone
Set the timezone for the UI. Changes will be applied after next login. List of supported timezones
Enable internet access of Zend Server
Select whether the server and browser have an internet connection
Save Saving... {{formErrors.ui}}

To start receiving notifications, configure the mailing account that is used by Zend Server in the Mail Settings section

Notification Center Settings

The Zend Server Notification Center is a notification system for viewing live alerts in your working environment. Configure the triggered actions for each notification received:

Notifications Email
Enter an email address for receiving notifications
Notifications Callback URL
Define a URL to be called for each notification received
Save Saving... {{formErrors.notifications}}

To start receiving notifications, configure the mailing account that is used by Zend Server in the Mail Settings section

Audit Trail Settings

The Zend Server Audit Trail tracks and records UI and API user activity. Configure the triggered actions for each logged audit:

Audit Email
Enter an email address for receiving audit trails
Audit Callback URL
Define a URL to be called for each audited action

Mail Settings

This area allows you to define the mailing account that is used by Zend Server for sending alerts and notifications:

Mail Service
Select the mail service you are using (Custom, Gmail, Exchange) Zend Server does not support the new Gmail security standards yet. To allow Zend Server to send emails using Gmail, click here.
Mail Type
Select the mail type you are using (SMTP, Sendmail) . Make sure that Sendmail is installed.
Mail Host
Enter the host of the mail account you are using
Mail Port
Enter the port of the mail account you are using
Authentication
Select whether you would like to authenticate messages from Zend Server
Authentication Method
Select your preferred method of authentication (Plain, Login, CRAM-MD5)
Authentication Security
Select the type of encryption for authentication (None,SSL, TLS)
Authentication Username
Enter the username you would like to use for authentication
Authentication Password
Enter the password you would like to use for authentication
External URL (zend_monitor.gui_host_name)
Auto emails sent by Zend Server will link back to Zend Server GUI, using the defined URL
Return-to Address
Enter an email address for responding emails
From address
Enter an email address for outgoing emails

Restart Strategy Configurations
To minimize the downtime of a cluster, you can configure the way in which your servers perform a restart. You can either select to restart a certain percentage of your servers at a time, or define a specific amount of servers to be restarted at a time: Not available in this edition
Restart servers at a time Restart % servers at a time
Web Server Graceful Restart
Graceful restart can only be enabled on an Apache Web server on Linux OS distributions.
Determines whether the Web server awaits the completion of all active processes before restarting
Display Web Server warnings
Determines whether to display Web server warnings received from configuration tests performed by Zend Server.

The server mode determines which configuration settings you wish to work with: Development or Production.

Select a working environment to run Zend Server with optimized system configuration settings:

Development
Apply system and PHP settings optimized for a development environment. This option enables Z-Ray.
Production
Apply system and PHP settings optimized for a production environment. This option disables Z-Ray.
